This house remodel project facing royal Liverpool Golf course near Holylake gave us an interesting dilemma. How to design an extension to a traditional Villa for a client when both clients want different things? Answer. Design them something that neither of them are expecting! The exploded roof gives a dramatic architecture and internal space that is quite unique. Plenty of glass including glazing features such as an angled ‘roof window’ that captures the external landscaping bringing the surrounding nature into the internal space.
